Nice people to do business with.
Every once in a while I am fortunate enough to meet people in my work who share a similar set of ideals as my own; namely that they care more about relationship building than they do about making a quick buck.
I like to think of all the people that I work with as a sort of extended family and treat them accordingly. Rather than fight out points of contention, I much rather work with my business partners to come to solutions.
Life is not all about winning battles and I would much rather make friends than enemies. At the end of the day we are all people. We are all human and we all make mistakes. Whenever I am able to, I offer support to those I work with. I try to treat people the way I would like to be treated, to enjoy peoples' company and to enjoy working with them.
That said not everyone deals the same way and I would rather not work with those who simply wish to take advantage of me. Luckily over the years, and particularly of late, I have forged relationships with people who really care and whom I care for.
Those are the kind of people I like to do business with.
