Oh trial and tribulations. Yet another election looms in the UK. Decisions, decisions!
Here in the free world we get to choose between... well between not much really. Different flavours of vanilla. Because in truth there are only two parties that can win and for the most part their policies are much of a muchness.
I keep hearing stories about the all powerful Gordon Brown who apparently single handedly plunged the world into recession. Sorry I am not buying it. But then again, neither am I buying Mr Brown's so called solution (just print more cash).
But that does not mean that I should vote for the opposition either, simply because I don't care for New Labour (or Tory Lite as a good friend used to call them).
In the last election for London Mayor, I remember feeling pretty uninspired by the 'lead' candidates. One thing was clear to me; I didn't really want to vote for either Ken or Boris (or anyone else for that matter).
But this actually caused more of a problem than it may at first seem. To vote for no-one is considered to be irresponsible. Fair enough.
In that case can we need one more box on the ballot paper...
